The McCarter family has been privileged to serve as the Smoky Mountain Area's premier riding stable for 3 generations.  Our horses are the best trained and our people are the most experienced in the riding stable business.

Your family's safety is important, and you will want to select the riding stable with the most experience and best safety track record.

We have operated the Great Smoky Mountain National Park stables since their inception.

However, starting in 2003, we no longer operated the National Park franchise, and moved our riding stable business to our present location just North of Gatlinburg Tennessee.

We will be happy to arrange groups events for sunset rides, hayrides, buggy & carriage rides.

Location
Located just North of Gatlinburg, Tennessee at The West Gate Smokey Mountain Resort. The West Gate staff will assist you in parking and transportation to the stable.

Directions are easy. From Gatlinburg go North about 1/2 mile on US 441. Turn right on Little Smokey Road. Turn right at first stop sign on Garden Road. From Pigeon Forge, go South about 3 1/2 miles on US 441. Turn left at the third bridge. Cross North bound lanes. At first stop sign go straight on Garden Road.

Rates
Hourly Rates:  One-hour trail ride $20.00 per horse including tax.
